SUMMARY:2026/27 Summer Competition
DESCRIPTION:Round One of the 2026/27 Summer Domestic Competition at the Springwood Scorchers starts Monday\, October 12 2026. \nOur Summer Competitions run for 18 weeks of locally played basketball over Term 4 and Term 1 of the school year. \nTo nominate a team into the Junior Competition use this form: https://form.jotform.com/262288562856875 \nTo nominate a team into the Senior Competition use this form: https://form.jotform.com/262307800418856 \nIf you don’t have a team and would like to nominate individually for either the Junior or Senior competition\, use this form: https://form.jotform.com/262307978406869 \nCompletion of a nomination form doesn’t guarantee a place in the chosen competition\, however it is a commitment to enter and play in the competition if space is offered. For this competition\, teams are being accepted on a first come/first served basis. Competition fees are due when registration links are released – you can find the fee information for the Junior Competition here and Senior Competition here. \nNominations are open to the wider community from Monday 31st August.\nNominations close on Sunday\, 20th September. \nFinalised team lists\, competition structures\, and registration links will be released Sunday\, 27th September. Note that this date could change and any changes will be communicated via email and Basketball Connect. \nPlease contact us with any questions.

SUMMARY:2027 Representative Trials
DESCRIPTION:Do you want to be a Springwood Scorcher in 2027! \nOur rep trials are now open for registration for Juniors and Seniors for the 2027 representative season. \nAll trials will be held at home ground of the Scorchers\, Blaxland High School Sports Stadium. \nThe senior trials will be held on Saturday 14th\, 21st and the invitational trial on the 28th of November. The women’s trials are from 1pm-3pm and the men’s trials are from 3pm-5pm \nTo register for the senior trials: Senior registration \nThe junior trials will be held on Sunday 15th\, 22nd and the invitational trial on the 29th of November. \nUnder 12 boys: 8am-9:30am \nAll aged girls: 8am-9:30am \nUnder 14 boys: 9:30am-11am \nUnder 16 boys: 11am-12:30pm \nUnder 18 boys: 12:30pm-2pm \nTo register for the junior trials: Junior registration \nWe encourage all to trial if you wish to pursue representative basketball for the Springwood Scorchers.
