Scorchers Academy is for our older cohort of junior players, or highly skilled younger players, who are ready to take on more advanced skills and concepts, geared towards transitioning into our Representative program above our domestic competitions. It involves much more focused training on the micro-fundamental skills that will elevate a players game from good to great.
We are making some changes to our Scorchers Academy program for 2024! From now on, the sessions will be split into age groups, allowing for more targeted training at each age level, and a smoother transition into our Representative program. The sessions will be split by year of birth, into odd age groups i.e. someone born in 2010 is classified as a 14 year old, and would be part of our U15s/U17s session.
The program is invitational; if a coach has recommended the program, or you are generally interested, please enquire via email at development@springwoodscorchers.com.au, and we will sort it all out! Please do NOT join the program without consulting as fees are non-refundable. If you participated in it last program, you are eligible to sign up.
The U15s/U17s session is on Court 1, and the U11s/U13s session is on Court 2, both running from 11:30 to 12:30pm on Saturdays, costing $120.
