As you may be aware, all competitions and programs from Term 4 2024 will be on a new platform, Basketball Connect, and all our new development sessions are now on the new platform! Below is some onboarding information that will help first time users make the jump across to the new platform – if you have any questions/issues with the transition, please email Jem at office@springwoodscorchers.com.au, with as much information/screenshots as possible! It’s going to be a rocky changeover, but the more open the communication is the better everything will go!
FIRST TIME REGISTRATION
On the first time signing into the new platform (and completing it as an individual, not a team), you will HAVE to sign up as a NEW participant. During the course of entering your information (email address, DOB, home address etc), it will check it’s database to see if your profile was migrated across. Everyone with a valid BNSW registration should be migrated across, so if you have a valid registration you should have the chance to ‘claim’ your profile. Once you’ve done this, you can complete the form again but from your existing profile. Should you not get the chance to claim your profile, it means one of a few things.
- You don’t have a valid BNSW registration.
- You had an invalid BNSW registration at the time of migration, and have since updated on Gameday so it isn’t reflected in BConnect.
- There is a discrepancy in the details you are entering vs the details on your Gameday profile
In all cases, email the Domestic Development Officer for assistance!
AUSSIE HOOPS
Aussie Hoops is one of two programs on BConnect right now – most of it is going smoothly, however there is sometimes a delay in receiving the second email to claim your pack (basketball, backpack and singlet). If after a few days you haven’t received the email (from ‘mberplus’), please reach out to the Development Officer.
As more and more problems appear, this page will be populated with Frequently Asked Questions and more information about actual games and such – for now, this is as much as is known! The only programs on BConnect right now are Aussie Hoops and Rep Development – once games and competitions there will be more!
